RIB 4.0 Time Management forms the foundation for efficient project management
RIB 4.0’s new Time Management module creates an innovative link between construction sites and office operations.
STUTTGART, May 10, 2024. Thanks to the new module in RIB’s integrated project and enterprise platform, time management is now seamlessly connected with ongoing construction activities, project management, and project control.
RIB 4.0’s Time Management utilizes pre-configured electronic timesheets within the software. It can draw from employee data stored, including absences for vacation or illness, individual training, and resource allocation such as machinery and equipment used by employees on construction sites. Additionally, deployment planning ensures that employees are consistently assigned to the appropriate construction sites within the system. Employees can conveniently input their daily hours via the RIB 4.0 app on both desktop and mobile devices. Once validated by the manager, this data is instantly accessible throughout the RIB 4.0 system via the Business Intelligence tool BI+.
An embedded employee rights system safeguards data privacy and security, ensuring that sensitive employee information remains confidential. The seamless integration of Time Management with RIB 4.0 not only streamlines connected HR functions like payroll, but also enhances project management and controlling capabilities. Reported hours can be directly allocated to specific tasks, projects, and orders. Furthermore, integration with logistical billing processes allows for the automatic generation of delivery notes based on time management data. Detailed cost and hour breakdowns can be precisely assigned to individual Cost Codes, with automatic surcharges applied (if necessary).
