Continuous Beam Building Construction

The revised version of the continuous beam program BALKEN provides now a possible change of material between reinforced and respectively prestressed concrete as well as structural steel and timber. And this with an ergonomic program environment with ribbon bar, quick access bar and property grids. This allows an efficient and continuous design and proofs for a multitude of tasks in structural engineering. In addition, different program options for the design of geometrical discontinuity areas in reinforced and prestressed concrete members as well as consideration of an elastic bedding of the beam is offered. BALKEN replaces and upgrades the predecessor program RTbeam at the same time in a versatile way.
