RTpipe - Buried Pipes According to ATV-A 127 and DWA-A 127

New program version RTpipe V18.0 according to DWA-A127

With the update of the guideline DWA-A 127 for the calculation and design of buried pipes, the ROHR program was adapted to the requirements of the European standards. The following new features have been introduced:

  • Adaptation to the latest generation of Eurocodes standards and operation under Windows®10
  • Introduction of safety concept with partial safety factors for the actions and resistances according to European standard
  • Update of material parameters according to DIN EN
  • Verification of circular and egg-shaped pipes with/without base and different wall thicknesses in haunch, crown and invert
  • Adaptation of live loads to DIN EN 1991 with actual load models
  • Extensions for railway and aircraft loading
  • Revised calculation of internal forces
  • Revision of stress and strain analysis
  • Fatigue analysis according to DIN for stress determination in the cracked state for traffic or aircraft loads with 2*10^6 or for railway loads with 10^8 load cycles as default setting
  • Determination of bulk loads and traffic loads for standard vehicles, railway traffic and aeroplane
  • Extended load and calculation methods for isolated floors incl. analysis of flowability, sedimentation tendency as well as self-compaction of the isolated floor and buoyancy protection of the pipes
  • Update of the stability analysis
  • Additional features for glass fibre reinforced plastic pipes

 

Overview

  • Pipe materials: concrete and reinforced concrete pipes, cast iron pipes, HDPE and PVC pipes, steel pipes, clay pipes, fibre cement pipes, PP-B and PP-R pipes, UPGF pipes and asbestos cement pipes (historical reasons)
  • Verification of circular and egg-shaped pipes with/without base of different wall thicknesses in haunch, crown and invert
  • Fatigue analysis according to DIN for determined stresses in the cracked state for traffic or aircraft loads with 2*10^6 or for railway loads with 10^8 load cycles as default setting
  • Determination of bulk loads and traffic loads for standard vehicles, rail traffic and aeroplanes
  • Consideration of soil stresses due to self-weight and bulk loads depending on cover/pipe diameter
  • Extended load and calculation approaches for moving floors incl. proof of flowability, tendency to segregation as well as self-compaction of the moving floor and buoyancy protection of the pipes
  • Classification according to EN and calculation of the required Load class LC
  • Adaptation to the latest generation of Eurocodes standards and operation under Windows®10
