The CPI technology brings together all the models necessary for a construction project that can arise from the most varied CAD systems. Data integrity is assured.
All imported data are checked for geometric conflict points. This uncovers points where a direct collision is possible between the individual data sets. There is no chance of errors in the BoQ. If a model is changed and re-entered, a model comparison taking into account the changed geometries will take place.
Imported elements need technical information for unambiguous identification, so-called attributes. With the aid of these descriptive attributes, e.g. (for highway engineering) the specialist designation, positioning or alignment, you can assemble objects into selection groups.
Using defined selections and attributes, all objects in a model stand in direct relationship to a BoQ item from the TLK. The quantities calculated are assigned and can be shown visually in the model and checked regarding their list position in the BoQ. From all 3D objects, quantities can be calculated as an attribute query or, in the case of ceiling and floor areas, for example, derived directly from the model.
