Here you can find information about the REVIT plugin (Classical and iTWO3D) for RIB iTWO, RIB iTWO 4.0

Update 10.0.412 – March 2021

General information:

This version of iTWO3D and plugin can be synchronized with the CPI service of RIB iTWO 2018/2020/2021. Likewise, the output of the CPI data can be processed with the before mentioned RIB iTWO versions. If several iTWO3D/plugin versions are installed (e.g. 9.1.871), version 10.0.351 must be activated via the "Version change" function. After activation a restart of REVIT is necessary.

Corrections and enhancements:

  • #116755 -  When exporting larger projects, the time of export, compared to REVIT 2019, has greatly increased. A switch has been made to a new REVIT API for handling attributes and units. The export times are now comparable again.
  • #117750 – The option to start the BIM Qualifier Lite now also starts the BIM Qualifer Lite 2021.

 

Update - 10.0.351 - January 2021

Corrections and enhancements:

  • #106953 - Additional option for output of internal REVIT attributes that are used as reference for DBD-BIM. Comparable quantity calculations can be performed in iTWO using these attributes.  This option is disabled by default.
     
  • #115493 - In a few cases the output to CPIXML could not be completed. The cause was an unrecognized error in the REVIT volume calculation. When this error occurs, the volume is output as 0. An example for such objects could be a pump that was defined as a single REVIT object. 
     
  • #116195 - The namespace setting is now available as a standalone function. With this it is also possible to work with variants, different REVIT files, to take over the namespace from another REVIT file. After renaming a REVIT file, the namespace is displayed again for confirmation to make sure that it is still the original, or if a copy is made for a variant, the namespace can be adjusted in a meaningful way. 
     
  • #116244 - The setting for the configuration used in the CPI export is now automatically adopted for the geometry check and intersection check. Thus, the checks are performed with the same settings as the export. The configuration for synchronization is not included here. It is still separate.    
     
  • #116245 - The output of the structure of part elements could lead to combined objects on CPIXML level in some cases. The structure is now created correctly. 

 

Update - 9.1.871 - November 2020

General Information:

REVIT 2018 will no longer supported after this update. It is recommended to upgrade to a newer REVIT version. 

Corrections and extensions:

  • #115183 - In the log file of the output now also the REVITIDs are included. This ID can be used to simplify the search for problematic REVIT elements.
     
  • #114625 - Assemblies can now be output as related objects according to the assembly definition. This option is inactive by default in order not to change previous iTWO projects.
    Note: For geometry within assemblies the inheritance of the cpiComponent type applies. If reinforcing elements generated via generic REVIT families are used within an assembly, these elements/families must explicitly be assigned the cpiComponentType ATTRIBUTE. A missing qualification can lead to unexpected results and may result in incorrect geometries when imported into iTWO. 
     
  • #114515 - The web update check can now be interrupted for one week or completely deactivated. The changes in the respective plugin version are now available online and can be viewed before the update. If the WEB-Update check is deactivated, the check for new versions must be performed manually via the "Info" button.
    Note: Administrators can request a registry file via the support, which will also perform this deactivation afterwards.
     
  • #114062 - The display of the cut test results now also shows composite parts. Example: Section of a staircase with a ceiling panel. It is now also possible to double-click to select the intersecting elements for display.
     
  • #113694 - For larger REVIT projects, the section check sometimes could not identify sections because the data was split. This is now fixed. 
     
  • #112820 - Selecting a reference object to apply attributes for the configuration of exclusions is now possible again.
     
  • #112692 - If the attribute names in the project properties are identical, only one of the attributes is output. The attribute names should be different in order to output all properties.
     
  • #112509 - Output of type parameters with extended attributes. The following parameters are additionally output for layers/layers: StructuralMaterial, Function, Wraps.
