RIB Software responds to a cybersecurity incident

On May 13th, 2024, we detected an unauthorised access to a part of the RIB Software Hong Kong & Brisbane servers and promptly locked down access to the affected systems on the same day. The impact was limited to only a part of RIB Software Hong Kong Limited’s internal IT infrastructure and network.
RIB Software’s products, cloud infrastructure and email services have not been affected by the incident.
Our Global Incident Response team was immediately mobilized to contain the incident and reinforce existing security measures. We engaged a leading cybersecurity firm to support our detailed analysis of the incident. Our ongoing investigation indicates that a limited set of data may have been taken.
Our priority remains ensuring the security of our systems and data. As the investigation and analysis of this incident continues and more information becomes available, RIB Software will continue to inform impacted stakeholders and provide assistance, as relevant.
