RIB Software AG (RIB) signs a Phase II contract (no. 11 / 2016) with Kimly Construction in Singapore to use its iTWO 5D Big Data Technology
Stuttgart, Singapore, 30th June 2016. RIB Group today announced they have signed a subsequent Phase II Agreement with Kimly Construction to be the first international Phase II contract that will use iTWO 5D Big Data Technology integrating iTWO, iTWO Finance and iTWO cx. Kimly had started the roll out of iTWO and iTWO Finance across the whole enterprise integrating the virtual 5D simulation with the Physical Execution, with a Big Data single source of truth database for all their projects in June 2014. With the new agreement, Kimly would be implementing iTWO cx across their enterprise and to external stakeholders of their projects such as owners, consultants and subcontractors. This next step represents a leap forward to the next level where they will utilize the single source of truth to all parties involved in construction projects.
Kimly Construction is one of the most innovative Construction companies in Singapore, and one of the pioneers of utilizing BIM technology. They were recently awarded the Platinum award from the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA) for Construction Productivity in their project "76 Shenton".
