Programme component for general structures with Windows®-oriented working environment for the stability analysis of general spatial FE systems incl. bar constructions. It can be used both in the field of structural engineering and in bridge engineering. This programme component records the evaluation of buckling, tipping and bulging loads via a linear stability analysis and contains the following features:
- Evaluation of the lowest eigenvalues and the respective natural modes
- Calculation of critical load factors
- Display and animation of the buckling, lateral buckling and bulging figures
- Addition of the scaled buckling, lateral buckling and bulging figures as imperfections onto the geometry of the structure
- Documentation of the results of the linear stability analysis in a protocol
The basic system TRIMAS® fem and PONTI® can be enhanced by the option RTstability fem in order to process stability analyses.
