Construction in the 5th Dimension
Dear reader,
We are pleased to present our new generation
of software which provides the potential of five-
dimensional construction at your fingertips:
Our new CPI (Construction Process Integration)
technology combines three-dimensional
geometry data with the necessary resources –
such as construction materials, machinery or
manpower – and time and process components
in one single software application. In future, you
will be able to follow the geometry, resource and
schedule data of your construction projects at
any stage of processing on screen, both alpha-
numerically and with an interactive 5D model.
This development was modelled on the digital factory, which has brought cost savings of up to 30% for the automotive industry. We use CPI to transfer this technology to your industry. So you too will soon benefit from major cost reductions in the processing of your construction projects.
We have always devoted a great deal of attention to current requirements in the construction industry. We commenced the development of iTWO four years ago. The aim of our discussions was to find a solution enabling you to improve the performance and consistency required to undertake projects from concept to completion in terms of time, cost and communication with all project partners involved. Our objective was to provide a model-based, digital construction. Today, the 5D initiative, which is composed of Europe‘s leading construction industries is advancing the development of new IT solutions for the construction industry and confirms the trend towards virtual methods. To bring this innovative solution to market maturity for your benefit too, we have massively expanded our development capacities and trebled our R&D team. We invest approximately 30% of our annual turnover in the development of new software solutions – and have done so again this year.
And what’s more: our commitment also includes research. MEFISTO, a project for the construction industry sponsored by the German Ministry of Education and Research and managed by the Technical University of Dresden, is just one of many current research projects
in which our company is actively participating. Help to build the future by embracing the 5th dimension in construction.
